  • Read Course Materials: Go through any provided course materials or pre-reading before the class. This will help you understand the topic better.
  • Communication: If you have any doubts or issues, communicate with your instructor or classmates. Don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Be more engaged

Be more reflective

  • Self-Assessment: Regularly assess your own understanding and performance. Identify areas where you’re doing well and areas where you need improvement.
  • Discussion Forums: Participate in online discussion forums. Reading and responding to other students’ thoughts can provide new perspectives and deepen your understanding.

Active learning strategies involve students in the learning process by engaging them in activities that require them to apply, analyze, synthesize, or evaluate the course content. This term also describes various instructional strategies that involve students actively participating in the learning process, rather than passively listening to lectures.

Students who engage in active learning tend to perform better on assessments, retain information longer, and develop higher-order thinking skills.

More feedback...

Students who receive timely and frequent feedback from instructors and peers can correct misconceptions and deepen their understanding.

More alignment...

Activities are designed to match the learning outcomes of the course.
