The Villiers way : Excellent behaviour for learning in the classroom
SLT on call
Level 3 sanction - 1 Hour SLT detention
You will be removed and taken to a separate area for at least the remainder of the lesson
LEVEL 4 SANCTION
A serious and/or dangerous incident will result in an SLT on call, without the other steps being followed.
Action : You will be moved to another classroom
Level 2 sanction - 40 Minute Middle leader detention
So that learning can continue in the lesson
Action: You will be moved to a different seat or area
Level 1 sanction - form tutor/subject teacher response/ 15 MINute DEtention
A verbal warning in the classroom
IF YOUR BEHAVIOUR IMPROVES NO FURTHER ACTION
Instructing you to refocus and you will be moved to another seat or area if needed.
If you disrupt the lesson you will move up the pyramid
A quiet word in the classroom to help to re-focus you on your learning
So many of you behave very well and engage with your learning all the time. Well done.
Support can be put in place for those pupils who need some, for example, from a learning mentor, school councellor or external mentors.
