-Tejo or turmequé is a traditional Colombian sport. -It has its origins in a Colombian town in the center-west. -It has been practiced for more than 500 years.

-a 680 gram metal disc.-A "bocín" with 2 or 4 triangular gunpowder balls called fuses. -A playing field 19.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. -There are no specific clothes for playing, something comfortable. -Wooden board 1.5 meters long and 1 meter wide.

-It can be played individually or in teams.-The metal disc is thrown from 20 meters to a square called a shell. -The objective is to throw the tejo into the bocín and hit the fuses to create an explosion and score as many points as possible. -To be valid, the tejo must fall directly on the bocín without contact with external objects.
