Who killed jfk ?

Let's explore one of the biggest mystery of the USA

start

What is the official version of the assassination ?

The FBI and the Warren Commission that studied the assassination said that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he decided to kill the president on the 22 of November 1963 in Dallas. As Oswald said nothing and was killed 2 days after by Jack Ruby, many questions emerged from that murder.

The theory of others shooters

The Grassy Knoll theory is probably one of the most famous theory for the assassination of JFK. Indeed because among the 121 witnesses of these shots, close to half thought there wereshots from the grassy knoll whereas only a quarter declared shots came from the Texas School Book Depository where Oswald was. Furthermore, a member of the public was injured but a shot from where Oswald was couldn't injured that person so the investigatores thought that it could have another shooter. 15 years later, a Commission specialized in the assassinations said that the report of the FBI was really bad and that the Warren Commission hadn't worked enough on the possibility of a conspiracy against the president.

What are the most famous conspiracies ?

The theory of the federal agencies

This theory says that both CIA and FBI are implicated in the assassination of JFK. Indeed, the files of Oswald were falsified by the two agencies before and after the murder and they even hid information that could be useful for the Dallas police. Furthermore, the investigators received pressure to not study a potential link between Oswald and the CIA because some people thought L.H.Oswald worked for the CIA at that time. Not forgetting that the former officer of the National Security, after viewing all the proof explained that the chief of the counter-espionnage of the CIA was a key figure of the assassination.

A potential rivalry in politics ?

In 1964 the election for the presidential party took place, but only one democrat could make it to face a republican. This is why people turned themselves to the democrat member for the elections, Lyndon B. Johnson. This theory says that Johnson was scared to lose his place for the democrat party for the elections so he gave the order to kill him by using Oswald. Moreover, another argument for that theory was that Jonhson disliked the Kennedy's family.

The conclusions about this assassination

The death of JF. Kennedy is surrounded by mysteries. But all the theories that emerged were in link with the fact that Oswald was killed 2 days after being arrested. Indeed he couldn’t answer the question “Have you killed the president ?” and "For whom do you work?".

We will probably never know except if the secret services reveales some documents that can give us clues about the most mysterious death of the XXth century .
