How to create equitable learning for all w/ Cheryl Gradney
Do you need help with how to differenciate for individual needs? How to determine what those needs are? What the legal perameters are for students served under SpEd? I can help you with clarifications regarding Modifications vs. Accommodations, tools to make accommodations easier, as well as serving students who learn differently but may not be served by SpEd. In a coaching session with me we will look at a specific student or student groups needs to evaluate their strengths as well as their needs for your classroom. After the sesson, you will have a clear set of tools to take away and use in the classroom to support all students. You will also have resources to access for up coming lessions or units.

Enneagrams: Not Your Mother's Personality Test w/ Ashley Hill
Do you sometimes feel like you don't always connect to the people around you? Are you looking for strategies and tools to make stronger positive relationships with co-workers and others? Come and learn about the Enneagram and find out why it's not like all of the other personality tests most of us are familiar with! In a coaching session with me, we will break down each Enneagram type in detail. After this, each individual will learn which number they belong to and how they can use this for self-growth. We will also talk about strategies to get along with a co-worker who may be very different from you OR just a better way to connect to others in your department or on campus as a whole. After our session, teachers will walk away with an idea of how they are wired and what motivates them. They will also learn the same about co-workers, especially those who seem to be very different. The Enneagram is a great tool to promote both self-growth and understanding of others. I will follow up with you throughout the year to see how you are using this tool to build stronger relationships with others and to self-reflect on what you have learned and how you have grown from this.

Reimagining existing lessons to create learner-centered exeriences w/ Valerie Law
As teachers, we understand the importance of making content relevant and engaging for our students. But who has time to re-write their curriculum and/or lesson plans? And what do we do about those direct-teach lessons? I can help you reimage existing lessons to create student-centered learning that does not compromise the quality of learning students receive. In a session with me, we will reimagine existing lessons to create relevant and engaging learner-centered experiences. Come with a lesson plan in mind, and we will discuss and identify opportunities to incorporate more student-centered approaches. You will leave our session with at least one student-centered activity plan that includes clear objectives, engaging instructional strategies, and student collaboration and reflection opportunities. After our session, you will understand the value of putting students at the center of the learning process. In addition, you will be able to create student-centered activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Leveraging Technology for Success w/ Kim Hampton
Do you have a lesson that bores you to tears every year and you want to breathe some new life into it? Are you working towards a TTESS goal, and you need some support? Are you overwhelmed by the thought of planning a lesson that is future-ready, uses technology in an impactful way, is differentiated, and inquiry-based, makes use of high yield teaching strategies, fits in with our standards-based grading mindset, and is developed using UBD principles, all while trying to build relationships with your kids? Let's do it! In either a PLC or individual coaching session with me, we will identify a goal or challenge that could potentially be addressed through impactful technology use. We will investigate and select a strategy that best fits your needs, choose a technology tool(s) to support that strategy, and together we will decide how we can measure the impact/success of the plan. You can choose whether you would like me to support you during implementation through modeling, co-teaching, or by aiding in data collection and feedback for reflection. Following our coaching session, I will continue to support you in planning and during implementation through our chosen method. I will also follow up with you to reflect on our work using the data we have collected and to determine potential next steps.

Backwards planning and UBD resources w/ Susan Moran
Are you struggling with the PLC process? Need help on how to utilize the 4 PLC questions to guide your lesson planning? I can help! I support the PLC process using the 4 PLC questions and backwards planning, including the UbD framework. Specifically, in science, I can link teachers with district curriculum documents or connect science teachers from other FISD schools if helpful. I am happy to work with everyone and support all instructional goals at LTHS. After a session with me, you should have a better understanding of the PLC process. If you bring with you an upcoming unit, you can leave our sessions with a plan for that unit that uses the UbD framework.
