Internal iOS App

Internal Android app

Internal users have access to Daytime Vibes, but regular members do not yet. Historically, Android members get access to new features a few months after iOS users. Because of this, Android members pay less for an annual membership.

Public iOS app

The public iOS app will have fewer features and artwork than internal iOS users, but will get access to them before internal Android users.

Manual Vibes

Every SmartVibe for daytime is personalized to the customer and the day based on the customer's habits and daily feedback. SmartVibes are not the same as standard Vibes.They are not available to turn on manually, but users can adjust the intensity as they play.

There are eight Vibes in the home page of the app that every user can manually turn on our schedule. These Vibes are the same patterns/frequencies for every customer and do not change or adapt.

Your response to SmartVibes

New members fill out the questionnaire before they get access to SmartVibes. Users can update the questionnaire at any time.

Every time a user pauses a SmartVibe that's currently playing, it's considered negative feedback to the lagorithm

The Vibes users choose to play inform the algorithm of what kind of Vibes they like, at what time of day, and how it relates to the other feedback.

The log directly updates the algorithm throughout the day

Fall Asleep

SmartVibes for sleep is triggered to turn on when the Apollo detects movement during your sleep time set in the app. You can not manually turn it on or replay it, but it will replay if your Apollo continues to detect movement.

Fall Asleep is available to all users as a manual Vibe. It's vibrational pattern is designed to help you drift off to sleep.

Accelerometer

Inside every Apollo is an accelerometer, which measures how fast it's moving. Using hundreds of thousands of data points, the Apollo algorithm can detect and continue to learn about movements associated with waking up.

If the Apollo detects movement that indicates users are awake, a different Vibe will play to help users ease back into sleep. The Vibe played will be different for different users.

How long it plays

Sleep SmartVibes play for 5 minutes at a time. Vibes will continue playing until the user falls back asleep.

When the Apollo detects movement, it turns on a Vibe to keep you asleep and prevent waking up in the middle of sleep cycles

Good Morning

a calm transition from sleeping to awake for a pleasant, productive day

Good Moring is a member-exclusive Vibe found on the home screen of the app. It doesn't turn on automatically, but you can schedule it to start and adjust the intensity like a traditional Vibe. However, the time period is not adjustable. It's designed to start at your wake-up time, but you can schedule it to start before, or after.

New: Love Vibe

Love Vibe will help you feel warm and affectionate. It's the Vibe for hugging and snuggling. It's also the Vibe for feeling sensual and creating desire, helping you to relax and have fun with intimacy. Love feels more soothing than energizing.

BUYING, REFUNDS & DISCOUNTS

Refunds

Buying through app stores

Cancelling

Customers can request a refund from their respective store within 30 days of purchase. If they've requested a refund once, they cannot be refunded if they re-order. If a customer forgot to apply a discount, they need to request a refund and re-order. All refunds & cancellations are at the discretion of the app stores.

Members who cancel don't get a refund, but should have SmartVibes access until their original membership expires.

iOS - App Store Android - Google Play Store

All payment, discounting, refunds, and cancellations are handled through app stores, NOT Apollo Neuro. Memberships are sold for annual access, not monthly. We cannot offer refunds directly, but we can point customers to work with their app store. We can provide coupon codes, but we cannot offer retroactive discounts

TECHNICAL ISSUES

Basic Trouble-shooting

Toggling SmartVibes on/off

Daytime Vibes aren't turning on

Make sure the customer doesn't have any days with 3+ hours of scheduled Vibes

Similar to toggling Bluetooth, this step is used in multiple troubleshooting macros

Most of the SmartVibes troubleshooting uses steps you're already familiar with for other app or connection issues. The first steps for SmartVibes troubleshooting are: 1. Make sure the app is up to date 2. Make sure the firmware is up to date This resolves many issues already!

Sleep settings and schedule

Giving Input

The customer should be updating their restful log multiple times a day - this finetunes SmartVibes in realtime!

The customer needs to update their sleep and wake-up time in "settings" from the homepage

How rested do you feel?

When clicked, you'll see a small pop-up on the bottom of the screen. The options range from exhausted to great. Update the rested log every time you open the Apollo Neuro app to update the algorithm and your SmartVibes.

Buying in the store

Customers have to order from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). All payment is processed there, and we do not have access to edit or change that information. Customers outside the U.S. will pay our price converted into their local currency, based on the store's conversion rate and policy.

Questionnaire

Customers are asked specific questions about their daily routine, energy levels, productivity and sleep preferences.

Customers can fill out the questionnaire again at any time under "Tune your SmartVibes."

Sleep log

How often SmartVibes turned on at night

The long vertical lines indicate your set sleep and wake-up times. The horizontal blue line indicates when you were asleep. The short vertical purple lines indicate when Apollo detected movement associated with waking up, and turned on SmartVibes to help you stay asleep. The thicker the line, the longer SmartVibes played to keep you asleep. SmartVibes will not prevent you from waking up if needed (such as using the bathroom, house fire, etc)

What's SmartVibes for sleep?

Not the same thing as "Fall Asleep!" When the Apollo detects that you're waking up, SmartVibes turns on automatically for five minutes at a time. If you move enough to indicate you're awake, different Vibes will play to help ease you back to sleep. SmartVibes for sleep won't play outside your designated sleeping time.

Sleep learning period

Since SmartVibes is a self-learning tool and customized to each user, SmartVibes for sleep won't activate for 7 days.

This is a learning/calibration period. SmartVibes continues to learn about your sleep patterns as you continue to use it.

We recommend wearing Apollo on your ankle for the Love Vibe

We believe the Love Vibe works better on the ankle because the ankle has an accupoint from Chinese and Tibetan medicine that serves as a fast track to the emotional nervous system. This is similar to our recommendation that users wear Apollo on their wrist when using the Focus Vibe to help with nausea.

Sleep Schedule

Edit your target bedtime and wake-up time from the homescreen --> Settings --> Sleep Settings

This will later be moved to the SmartVibes tab.

Daytime Vibes

Customized Vibes that aren't available to turn on manually play throughout the day to tune your nervous system for you feel your best, balanced self. Vibes are chosen by the algorithm based on your feedback. The types of Vibes are based on three goals:

• Recovery - if you've slept poorly
• Performance - for higher energy
• Rest - end of the day to prepare for bed

A quick summary of how long SmartVibes played, how long you were awake (if you woke up after you went to sleep), and how long you were asleep.

Status and Settings

1. Toggle Daytime SmartVibes on/off2. Toggle SmartVibes for Sleep on/off 3. Tune your SmartVibes - revisit the questionnaire you filled out when setting up SmartVibes. Maybe your lifestyle or schedule changed, and the algortihm needs to be updated 4. Sync with Oura - connect the Oura Ring app with SmartVibes for maximum personalization
