Triassic period
The Triassic Period was the first period of the Mesozoic Era and It was a time when life outside of the oceans began to diversify.differences between animals or plants found in different areas were minor
Jurassic period
Second of three periods of the Mesozoic Era Many groups of vertebrate and invertebrate organisms important in the modern world made their first appearance during the Jurassic. On land, dinosaurs and flying pterosaurs dominated the ecosystems, and birds made their first appearance. Early mammals also were present, though they were still fairly insignificant. Insect populations were diverse, and plants were dominated by the gymnosperms, or “naked-seed” plants.
Cretaceous period
During the Cretaceous the land separated further into some of the continents we recognize today, although in different positions. This meant that dinosaurs evolved independently in different parts of the world, becoming more diverse. The first snakes evolved during this time, as well as the first flowering plants. And mammals now included tree climbers, ground dwellers and even predators of small dinosaurs.
