Step 1 2 minutes The "Screen Writer" provides an overview of their project and what they are still struggling with. The "Audience Member" will listen.
Step 2 1 minute The "Audience Member" will ask clarifying factual questions. The "Screen Writer" will provide the answers.
Step 3 2 minutes The "Audience Member" will ask probing questions. The "Screen Writer" will provide the answers, as appropriate. The purpose is to expand the Screen Writer's thinking.
Step 4 3 minutes The "Audience Member" will share their thoughts on what they heard, what they didn't hear, what might be a next step, etc.. The "Screen Writer" will listen and take notes.
Step 5 2 minutes The "Screen Writer" will review their notes and share any new insights that the discussion has provided.
Switch roles and repeat the process.
