Os Portais sao uma distorçao dimensional que liga dois sitios a "Dungeon" e a Terra, os portais tem monstros e os "hunters" tem que os matar se nao eles saem, mas o portal/Dungeon so desaba quando o "Boss" for derutado, as Dungeons tem uma variadade de materiais muito grande.
O mundo de solo leveling foi afetato por um cataclismo que fez ums portais com monstros la dentro que apos 3 dias eles saiem e aterorisao o mundo mas com o cataclismos comesaram a apareser os chamados de "awakeners" que sao pessoas com poderes sobrenaturais para lutar contra os monstros dos portais entrando neles e destruindo os monstros
