The indipendence
The European colonization of the Americas began in the 15th century; by the 1760 thirteen British colonies containes 2.5 milion peolpe. The southern colonies built a slave system and they enslaved people of Africa for this purpose. The British governement imposed a series of taxes rejecting the colonist's argument that the new taxes needed their approval; This led to an rmed conflict that began in Massachussetts in 1775.In 1776, in Philadelphia, the second continental congress declared the indipendence of the colonies as "United States Of America " led by George Washington.
