Afirmatives statements

When we used it:

• When the statement is affirmative the tag is negative.

• We use it to confirm information you already think is true.
• To encourage someone to make a small talk.

BE CAREFUL!

• We use aren't for negative tag questions after I am

• I am on time, aren't I?
• I am not late, am I?

NEGATIVE statements

When we used it:

• When the statement is negative the tag is affirmative.

• We use it to confirm information you already think is true.
• To encourage someone to make a small talk.

BE CAREFUL!

• We use pronouns for tag questions, not other nouns or names.

• Bangkok is in Thailand, isn't it?
