The fire broke out at 11:30pm on Tuesday, in Gambelas and arrived to Loule.More than 400 operatives were at the scene of the fire. On Wednesday, during the most critical phase of the firefight, around 150 were at risk of losing their homes.

The fire destroyed my house and i was one of the many people left homeless.The police ordered the evacuation of the house at 1 am on July 13 and I was only able to return at 6 pm of the same day, but when we got back the house had burned down. We spent the whole time in a parking lot next to the university, because at that time we had nowhere else to go.

My experience

I spent 1 month living in a camping park and then in an apartment in faro, and it wasn't until february of the next year that I returned to my home.When I finally returned to the house, it didn't look like the same, because the trees around the house were all burning and some had already been cut down.
