Target Start and End dates should reflect the task progression - you are creating an overall timeline.

Fill in the form for each task using the original Project Name as the new Parent Project Name

Request a copy of your first entry to the form for the project.

Open the TEST Project Sheet Intake Form

Open the intake form and begin to fill it in follow the directions for the fields for the initial project information.

  1. Sign into SmartSheet
  2. Select the "waffle", then select Dynamic View from your options
  3. Select TEST: Point Person or TEST: Project Manager View

Updating in Dynamic View

  • Select the link in the email.
  • Make any updates.
  • Use the next button to move through the request.
  • Select Submit.

On a weekly basis you will receive an email request to update your open projects.

Updating from an automated email request

  • Select the "bell" icon to review your notifications.
  • Select the request.
  • Make any updates.
  • Select Submit.

The update request will also be available directly in SmartSheet.

  • Logged into SmartSheet
  • Created a Project with Tasks by filling in the form
  • Identified why unique Target Start and Stop days are essential for tasks
  • Launched Dynamic View
  • Updated a task using Dynamic View
  • Updated a task using an automated email update request with a form.
  • Eaten light and fluffly waffles with your choice of toppings.
