Privileges and limitations of certificate
Maintenance, return to service a Repair station depends of the Ops Specs for which the Repair Station is rated Perform Maintenance under parts 121, 125 and 135 in accordance to: air operator´s FAA approved Maintenance program or operator´s FAA approved inspection program or Continuos Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP)
Work performed at another location
A certificated repair station may temporarily transport material, equipment, and personnel needed to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, or certain specialized services on an article for which it is rated to a place other than the repair station's fixed location
Notification of hazardous materials authorizations.
When operating for an operator part 121 or part 135, the Repair station must control the carrying of hazardous materials. And notify all personnel involved.

Service difficulty reports
A certificated repair station must report to the FAA within 96 hours after it discovers any serious failure, malfunction, or defect of an article
It must include specific items of 14 CFR 145.221 (b)
The report must be in a format acceptable to the FAA.
The repair station does not need to report if part 121, 125 and 125 already done it
The repair station may report to 121, 125 and 135
