History

Indigenous peoples like the Stoney Nakoda, have been there for thousands of years. In the 18th century, European fur traders started checking out the area. The Canadian government wanted to protect the beautiful Rockies, so they created the Rocky Mountain Parks system in 1887. That's when Jasper National Park officially began.

Personal reflection

Thanks to this project about Jasper National Park, I´ve discovered this beautiful park, among others, which contains a lot of things that I’ve never thought I will want to visit. Only by watching the images it makes me want to travel to Canada and learn more about the nature and wildlife there, taking into account all the things I´ve learnt and the activities I´ve found that I can do in the park.

THANKS FOR WATCHING!
