you'll be given three situations where you have to get some information

At the hotel: Guest

You are staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. Using indirect questions, politely ask the receptionist about the following information.

1. free Wi-Fi in the hotel - yes/no 2. the time when breakfast is served 3. room-to-room dialing code? 4. what floor is the gym on? 5. laundry service - yes/no When you have finished, thank the receptionist and ask them to call a taxi for you.

Could you tell me...I'd like to know... Do you know... Would it be possible... I was wondering... Is there any chance...

At the ticket office: Customer

You want to book a flight to London with British Airways. Using indirect questions, politely ask the ticket agent about the following information:

Could you tell me...I'd like to know... Do you know... Would it be possible... I was wondering... Is there any chance...

1. the cost of the flight to London 2. hours of the flight 3. the time the plane departure 4. baggage weight restriction 5. meals served on the flight (yes/no)

When you have all the flight information, decide if you want to fly business or economy and ask if you can pay by credit card.

At the dance studio: Customer

You want to sign up for a dance class. Using indirect questions, politely ask the manager about the following information:

Could you tell me...I'd like to know... Do you know... Would it be possible... I was wondering... Is there any chance...

1. the types of the classes 2. age restriction 3. the cost of the classes 4. evening classes (yes/no) 5. shower cabin (yes/no)

When you have all the information, ask if you can pay monthly, not yearly.
