"Yes, it’s actually pretty useful! It's essentially a place where you can show your professional achievements, something like a digital CV. Plus, it’s not only full of personal profiles, but also a lot of organisations and big businesses who are looking for potential new staff."

"Have you heard about Linkedin, Marie? I was watching a video about searching for a job and the presenter mentioned it, but he didn’t go into detail."

"Yes, that's basically it."

"So instead of me writing and sending my application to the organisation, the organisation can find me on LinkedIn and get in touch with me if they think I suit their job offer?"

"That would be great, but unfortunately it’s not likely to work out quite like that. There are so many people on the platform that it can sometimes be difficult to really stand out. I’d still recommend sending out applications yourself, but having a profile and using it to search for potential roles and to learn some valuable information about job searching could be useful."
