What is adjective?

Example

An adjective is a part of speech in English that describes or modifies a noun or a pronoun. Adjectives provide more information about the quality, size, shape, color, and other attributes of the noun or pronoun they modify. For example, in the sentence “The fluffy cat sat on the soft cushion”. The adjectives “fluffy” and “soft” describe the cat and the cushion respectively. Adjectives play a crucial role in descriptive writing, making language more vivid and engaging.

Examples of the order of adjectives before a noun

Something to have in mind is that it does not sound natural using three or more adjectives in the same sentence and it is very rare to hear four adjectives together before a noun. A big fat red monster. An interesting old Indian rug. Some comfortable black sleeping bags Four small round wooden tables Those funny little old men
