You can gain higher marks in assignments 2 & 3 by including, and justifying, a mixed methodology in your research. A mixed research methodology uses both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Using both types of research helps get different kinds of information. Together they give a fuller picture than one method alone. You should consider your use of quantitative methods during this session. Apply these concepts to your own research to gather more data for analysis.

TASK 1: investigating survey tools

There are various tools avaiaible to help you construct qauntitative surveys Some free tools for quantitative surveys include Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Toluna, and Typeform - to name a few.

You should investigate these potential tools and consider how they may be useful to you when conducting qauntitative primary research. Discuss your findings with a partner: Which of these platforms would be suitable What are the advantages and disadvantages? How might you distribute these surveys if you were to use them?

Using your lecture notes, you should develop two survey questions that will allow you to gether quantitative primary information:

You shold use a combination of the following: Dichotomous (Yes or No) Multiple Choice (several options) Likert Scale (1-5) Semantic Differential Scale
