Who WAS JOHN VON NEUMANN ?
WHO WAS JOHN VON NEUMANN ?
He was born in 1903 in Hungary.He was:
- a matematician,
- a physicist,
- a computer scientist
WHAT IS A MODEL ?
WHat is a MOdel?
A Model is a theorical rappresentation of the reality.The models semplify the effective system that exists or will exist in the reality. For example a model of a car is an object that is really similar to a car but it isn't a car.
WHat is an ARCHITECHTURE?
Differently from a model the architechture is the effetive rappresentation of the reality.

Is composed by;
- Input Device;
- Cpu;
- Memory Ram;
- Output Device.
THE KEY DEVICE OF THE MODEL
The Cpu is the key in this model since thanks to it every instruction is executed by the machine cycle.
How THE DEVICE ARE LINKED?
The devices in a PC are linked thank to the System Bus.There are 3 kind of System Bus:
- Control Bus, transports only control data;
- Address Bus, transports only address of a location of the CPU;
- Data Bus, contains only the effective information data;
INPUT DEVICE
Allow us to comunicate with the computer in particular to send information which then will be translated in instruction
Memory Ram
Memory Ram (Volatile Memory situated on the Motherboard) contains the instruction and the data which the CPU are going to execute. The information are stored in little pices of memory called location.
THE ADDRESS OF A LOCaTION
Each Location is recognizable by its address. Each address starts with 0x since is a long sequence of hexadecimal numbers.
OUTPUT DEVICE
The computer utilise this kind of devices to comunicate with the user.
