Invisible Math

You can expand the place values after a number by adding a decimal and/or zeros.

Invisible Math

A number with no sign in front of it is understood to be POSITIVE.

Invisible Math

Any integer can be turned into a fraction by putting a one on the bottom. Remember a fraction means division, so 5 divided by 1 is still 5.

Any variable with no coefficient has an understood coefficient of 1.

Two variables with no signs inbetween is understood to be multiplication.

Subtracting a value is the same thing as adding a negative.

The index number of a square root is understood to be 2.

A negative outside of parenthesis, brackets or absolute value bars can be understood as the coefficient -1.
