On May 8, 1886, the world's first Coca-Cola was served at Jacobs pharmacy in Atlanta Georgia. It was the creation of Dr. John Pemberton. The start of Coca-cola started with Pemberton’s first product “ French wine coca”. It was a drink made from wine and coca extract. It was a cure for nervous disorders, headaches and other ailments. When Atlanta forbade the sale of alcohol in 1885 Pemington changed the formula and began selling only coca syrup, Pemington mixed up versions of the syrup into a brass kennel in his backyard. That later became Coco Coca-Cola it contained extract of cocaine and kola nuts, caffeine,sugars and Sweetening instead of wine
