Find a job ad in a field or career path you are interested in. It can be an internship or regular position
Post the job ad in the designated place on your group page
Save a link to the ad or save the ad as an image/document
Move on to step 2

Create a one-page cover letter addressed to the hiring manager at the organization associated with the job ad
Create a resume with your relevant skills, education and job duties
Utilize the guide in Canvas for resume and cover letter tips
Post your resume and cover letter on your group page and move on to step 3

Carefully review the job ad your partner sends you as well as their resumé
Construct ten interview questions (different question types)
Questions should be designed carefully, with employee traits, qualifications, and company needs/mission in mind

Review the job ad you submitted as well as the organization
Develop a few examples from prior work experience, group projects, volunteer work to showcase your skills
Practice some of your responses and move on to step 5

Meet with your partner virtually at your scheduled interview day/time
Submit your recording via the appropriate link on Canvas
Record your interviews back to back (i.e. first conduct the interview as the interviewer, then the interviewee)
