A good instructional coach..."realizes the focal point of the relationship isn’t the mentor, rather it’s the adult learner. Therefore, ego and control must take a backseat to insightful questions, careful listening, collaboration, and unwavering support. " (Taylor, 2022)
In other words, coaching is a balance between leading and supporting. A good coach helps enable teachers to solve their own challenges using specific techniques.
