It's common to believe that to lose weight the only important thing is the number of calories that you ingest and burn. But that's not true.
Bad sleeping sketchuel
Genetics
Mental ilnesses
Some medicaments
You may be eating a diet with a small amount of calories (because that is what you are taking into account) but also having a diet with a lack of important nutrients, or high in bad stuff (because you aren't looking for that)
Some medication

HIGH-FAT foods are unhealthy
Bibliografía
are fats bad?
Types of fats:
- Saturated fats: An excess of this type can be bad for your health. They increase cholesterol and are inflammatory.
- Unsaturated fats: They reduce cholesterol and the arterial pressure. Anti-inflammatory
- Hydrogenated/trans fats: These are the worst of all types, they are horrible for the heart. Reduce the good cholesterol and increase the bad one
Most people believe this incorrect theory that states that high-fat foods are unhealthy and low-fat diets will improve your overall health. The truth is that fats are necessary for our diet, they give us easy storage energy. In fact, low-fat diets are linked with a higher risk of health issues (such as metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, multiple heart diseases...) It has been proved that diets that are higher in fats are more effective.

breakfast is the most important meal of the day
Everybody has once, at least, heard the saying: ''Breakfast is the most important meal of the day''. But did you know that that's not necessarily true?
It has been proved that skipping breakfast can make you ingest fewer calories, improve blood sugar control, reduce inflammatory markers, and have some more benefits...
Obviously this is not the case for kids and teenagers (they need those important extra nutrients in order to develop correctly and healthy)
Another way of adquiring those beneficial effects is eating a denser breakfast and having a lighter supper.
04
you need to heat small, frequent meals for optimal health
Many people eat small and light but frequent meals throughout the day because they believe that it boosts your metabolisim and weight lost.
But the truth is, as long as you are healthy the frequency of your meals does not matter at all
