Design and visual effects:

"Industrial Light & Magic" was the main special effects company. In order to maintain realism, the use of computer-generated images and bluescreen was limited, mixing many of the digital effects with thumbnails and live scenes. The were designed with an appearance that Spielberg described as "elegant", as the artist Doug Chiang was inspired by aquatic life forms. The director wanted to pay tribute to the original Tripods and at the same time wanted them to be iconic and threatening, so that viewers would be more interested in the mechanical medium itself, than the aliens inside.

tripods

my opinion

Let’s start by saying that the genre action, adventure I personally really like, withtaken the actor . In an article I found that many people think that this is one of the worst Steven Spielberg movies, but I liked this movie because I found it genuine, with real emotions, like courage, fear but also love. I chose this film because I find that it is not talked about and appreciated, since many people find it a cliché.

A stunt with no stunt double

Tom Cruise is famous for being a stunt enthusiast, so much so that he realizes most of the stunts in his films without stunt doubles, even in the most dangerous sequences.

In Mission Impossible 4 he climbed in Dubai the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world and, in the next film, took off on a plane clinging to the outer door.
