The Espionage Act was approved on the 15th June 1917. It did not let any American help the enemy or interfere in any operation of the armed forces. You could get into big trouble.
The Selective Service Act was created because of the lack of soldiers to face the war. It was mandatory for all men between 21 and 30 years old to register so they could be called to fight in case of necesity.
Trench warfare was an strategy shown in this picture in wich there was a deep trench with soldiers. Many soldiers would get sick because of the bad conditions in the trenches.
The Sediction Act of 1918 was approved on May 16th and was an extension of the previous Espionage Act. According to this act you could not even talk poorly about the U.S
Lusitania, was a British passenger ship sunk on July 7th by the germans killing over 1.200 inocent people. It was attacked by a submarine without prior notice.
