GIORGIA: Hi guys, what are you doing?LUCA: We are planning an end of year trip to London. MATTIA: Yes, we are booking the hotel and the tickets. GIORGIA: Really? Can i help you? ERIKA: Yes of course, you can search for museums to visit. GIORGIA: Okay. LUCA: Everyone has their task: I book the tickets, Mattia books the hotel and Erika chooses the monuments and the sport events to watch.

DAY 1: THE DEPARTURE AND THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

LUCA: I've found some tickets, there is one that leaves on 3th january 2024 at 8.30 a.m. from Bari Palese and arrives at Heathrow airport in London at 11.45 a.m.MATTIA: This is perfect, do the others agree? GIORGIA:Yes, of course ERIKA: Yes, that's fine. GIORGIA: Instead i found a museum to visit, the Science Museum that only costs £9. ERIKA: Okay, but where we stay for the night? MATTIA: I found a hotel called "Club Quarters Hotel Trafalgar Square" and a night there costs 200£. All right? THE OTHERS: Yes, you can book the hotel. MATTIA: Okay

THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

The Science Museum was founded in 1857 and it houses many objects including documentation of the first typewriter, the oldest steam locomotive, the first jet engine. Some prototypes that reproduce DNA and many interactive documentaries with IMAX network that illustrate the history of some of the Museum's pieces. There is also an exhibition on dinosaur skeletons found all over the world.

ERIKA: For the second day i founded a park, the Diana Memorial Playground, and entry is free.GIORGIA: Okay, i think it's perfect. MATTIA&LUCA: During the second day we could travel by London Underground. It's more comfortable. ERIKA:Okay, it's fine.

THE DIANA MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND

It is a memorial to Diana, in Kensington Gardens. It was erected after his death on the site of the children's playground.

Its most prominent feature is a full-scale wooden pirate ship which serves as a climbing area for children, and is surrounded by sand in which they can play. Other features include slides, swings, and an area designed for those with disabilities, including fragrant plants and sound features.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Buckingham Palace has always been a royal residence but the meaning attributed to it has changed over time, in fact over the course of historical events it has become a palace, it has been the residence of royalty for centuries and has hosted royalty such as Queen Victoria and has also undergone numerous renovations with precious materials such as lapis lazuli and has resisted a long historical period including the Two World Wars.

TOWER BRIDGE.

The Tower Bridge is a bascule bridge in London, located on the River Thames. The Tower Bridge is a relatively recent bridge, since its construction began in 1886, the Tower Bridge began to enjoy international success, becoming one of the main symbols of London, preceded only from Big Ben.

Master Snooker is a snooker tournament. Snooker is a very popular billiard sport specialty in England, Ireland and throughout the Commonwealth. The participants are the top 16 players in the Ranking after the UK Championship.
