Add a Report to a Dashboard
This clickable walkthrough will take you through the adding a report to a dashboard and making changes to the dashboard.
Click to STart
Here we have our newly created report that we want to add to an existing dashboard. Click Explore actions (gear ⚙ icon) to get started.
In this scenario, we'll we have a newly created report which we want to add to an existing dashboard. First, we'll add the report to the dashboard and then we'll make several additional changes to improve the existing dashboard.

Click Save...

Click To an existing dashboard. This will allow you to apply the report to a previously created dashboard.

Add a Title for the report to be displayed in the dashboard. Note that this can be changed later.

Select from a previously created dashboard to place the report in.

Click Save to Dashboard to add the report to selected dashboard.

To go to the dashboard with the newly added report, click the link in this notification.

Great, we're now in the dashboard where we added the new report. Note that the dashboard is currently in "edit" mode allowing us to make changes. Click the arrow to scroll down to see our newly added report.

First, let's move our new report to be next to be in the row above. Click the Hold and drag icon to move the tile.

Once the tile placement highlight is in the right position, let go of the click hold to drop the tile in its new location.

Now that we've placed the Applicants by Stage tile in a new location. Let's move the UTM Source tile that moved downward to accommodate the above tile.

Drop the tile into the middle of its current row.

Let's resize the tile to expand its width. Click the bottom right corner resize the tile.

Once the tile is at the appropriate size, let go of the click hold to resize the tile.

Now that our tiles are rearranged to our preferred layout, let's scroll up to make some further updates to the dashboard.

Let's add a filter that lets us update certain tiles by their position. Click Filters from the top menu.

Click Add Filter.

Locate a filter option by using the search. Click to search for Position name.

Under Position, click Name.

Add a Title for the filter.

Now let's determine which tiles will be updated when the filter is used. Click Tiles To Update.

Let's make sure the top two tiles are not controlled by the filter. Click the dropdown under Field to Filter for each tile.

Select Do Not Filter.

We're ready to add the filter to our dashboard. Click Add.

Now that our filter is added, let's test it out. Exit the editing mode by clicking Save.

Click the Filter by Position button to select positions to filter by.

Click the any value dropdown.

Click a position to add it to the filter selection.

With our filters selected, click the Update icon to refresh the data.

Great work! We've added a new report to an existing dashboard. We then made changes to the dashboard including rearranging the displayed tiles and adding a filter.
