In almost all private schools and Catholic institutions (Preparatory school, primary school and secondary school) you must wear a uniform. At university, however, there is just a dress code to follow.
Up to and including the third year, there are eight subjects, the same as in Primary School, which are verified with a final test, called Naplan.
In next years the subjects are reduced to six to focus on the student's preferences.
You can leave school at 15 or 16 at the end of Year 10, but onlif you can demonstrate that you are employed full time. Those who continue obtain a diploma at the end of Year 12.

Here students stay from the age of 12 to 18:

Children partecipate in the activities offered for two or three days a week.
Pre-primary year
This year has full-time attendance and is a compulsory educational path.

The student can obtain : Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master Degree, Doctoral Degree
Depending on the major chosen, the student obtains the Bachelor Degree and if they want to add a year of studies, they will obtain an Honors Degree in addition to their Bachelor degree.

4 years of high school
2 years of middle school
