Participants will learn from some of AVID's top educators and network with colleagues from other schools to share experiences, collaborate, and plan their campus implementation strategy for the coming year.
AVID Ignite
AVID Ignite™ is a summer learning event that provides the flexibility and resources you need to activate your campus community in preparing every student to live a life of possibility.
AVID ExevateXP
This virtual professional learning opportunity includes 12 hours of learning with a group of peers and experienced facilitators, discussion forums to stay connected through engaging conversations, and coaching and support provided with access to up to four 30-minute collaborative sessions.
AVID Path to Schoolwide
AVID Path to Schoolwide 2-day trainings provide high-engagement professional learning and resources for all educators. Path trainings aid educators in supporting all students to reach their full potential and successfully prepare for college and careers. During regional and district Path trainings, participants will experience AVID strategies and methodologies and learn how to focus instruction, leadership, systems, and culture to strategically improve the performance of all students.
APLMs
AVID Professional Learning Modules (APLM's) are 90-minute professional learning sessions. These modules can be presented in two forty-five-minute sessions, or one ninety-minute session in virtual, blended or face to face environments. APLM's can be used on their own for a short professional learning opportunity, or they can be assembled to create a full day or multi-day professional learning event. The goal of these modules is to support AVID program staff and District Directors in implementing the AVID College and Career Readiness System with fidelity and depth.
