Plot

The book tells the story of a rich old stingy man, who was not empathetic at all and who did not like Christmas. All this changes when his dead partner appears to him and warns him that three ghosts will visit him that night and that he still has time to change so that people love him and not die alone. The ghosts were from the past, present and future. The one from the past taught him that he had been selfish by leaving his girlfriend because he was poor and because of the money. The ghost of the present taught him that he had to be a better person because his employee was going through a bad time with his sick son and he still treated him badly. The ghost of the future taught him that if he did not change, he would die alone and the son of his employee would die from his illness. After all that, he decided it was time to change and be a better person. So he went to his nephew's house and ate with them, donated money to the poor and raised the salary of his employee. Also the following year he prepared a big Christmas dinner and invited his family and his employee's family.
