This tradition consists in giving each one of your loved ones a book for chirstmas. This tradition dates back to WWII and has now become part of the Icelandic identity and culture . In our opinion, it is a pretty interesting tradition, and we think it should be embraced and even exported to other surrounding countries.

dEVIL'S BURNING (gUATEMALA)

this tradition, dating back to the XVI century, consists in a series of fires in which local people will burn some of their oldest belongings in an attempt to make a spiritual cleansing.

This is a traditional event based on radish, held in the province of Oaxaca. During this event, sellers and artisans sell carved radishes to represent scenes like Nativity, plants, animals, thypical architecture and daily activities.
