German-Soviet non-aggression pact (August, 1939)
In the night of 23-24 August 1939, Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact., known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. The countries agreed that they would not attack each other and secretly divided the countries that lay between them. Germany claimed Western Poland and part of Lithuania.
But what would have happened if this pact had not been created?
- Early war between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany: Without the non-aggresion Pact, Germany would invaded the Soviet Union earlier , in 1939 or 1940. This would have changed World War II, USSR would have been less prepared to defend itself against an early attack.
2. Change in the course of the war: A conflict between the USSR and Germany would have changed the duration and the course of the WW2. The final could have been very different, with different countries as winners and losers.

3. Story
In 1939, the missing of the German-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact led to a change in history. Conflicts between the Soviet Union and Nazis. Stalin make an alliance with France and the UK against Hitler. Ideological differences, the common threat led to secret negotiations that resulted in a union to German expansion.
This new alliance saw a strategic union across Europe, with military in Poland and the strengthening of positions in France and western Germany. The threat was not a German invasion of Poland, but a joint attack from the east and west against Germany, taking Hitler by surprise. Despite some resistance, the numerical and strategic superiority of the Allied forces contained and defeated Nazi Germany.
Battles spread across Europe with an eastern front where Soviet forces advanced west. The Western powers advanced from the west with coordinated movements. This unusual alliance completely changed the course and result of World War II, bringing about the defeat of Nazi Germany.
