-The program is mainly directed towards older people who have problems using and understanding new technologies such as; -Elderly people who became isolated as the digital era advanced. -Older people who want to connect with their family to improve their communication. with the objective of; -Helping improve the generational gap between older and younger generations
What is this program for?
In order to be able to use the applications which make possible the access to information, health and social participation, as well as other facts which move the compromise and the participation in their surroundings.
Session 1
This will be the first sesion which will last around an hour and a half, during this time the participants will learn to do things such as;
Basic knowledge about the use of different technologies; -Charging them up -Turning them on and off -Setting a pasword and creating accounts in different apps which will be used in the next sesion.
Session 2
How to use different apps
TikTok and Instagram: To keep yourself entertained Whatsapp:To stay connected with family/friends Youtube: To search different tutorials (such as cooking recipes) Amazon: To buy different products without having to leave home
Session 3
How to make video calls.
We will make video calls with your phone, so you can chat face to face with your grandchildren or family, no matter how for away the are.
Session 4
How to research
Time to explore in Interne. We will help you search information through different apps. Some of the things to look for are:
- News in online newspapers.
- Read information.
- Watcht video.
