Temples
- Temples were the main religious buildings in Egypt. They were dedicated to honour the gods.
- Priest and pharaohs made different rituals there: they made offerings, held religious festivals and protected against evil forces.
- People came in through the main door, surrounded by sphynxes. Then, they went through a courtyard and more rooms. At the end of the corridor, a god's statue was found.
Egyptian temples had colour! Now, it has vanished.
