Taylor Swift is an American singer, actress, and songwriter born in Reading, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1989. She is the daughter of Scott Swift, a financial advisor, and Andrea Gardner Finlay, a homemaker who previously worked as an investment fund marketing executive. She spends her childhood on an 11-acre farm where Christmas trees are grown . She attends school at West Reading Primary Center and Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High. From a young age, Taylor Swift shows interest in musical theater and starts acting in productions of the Berks Youth Theatre Academy. She writes songs and starts singing in karaoke contests from a very young age. In 2006, she released her first self-titled album, which includes songs composed during her freshman year of high school. Since then, she has released several more albums, including “Fearless”, “Speak Now”, “Red”, “1989”, “Reputation” and “Lover”. Additionally, she has won several Grammy Awards and has been recognized as one of the most influential artists in pop and country music. Taylor Swift has a close-knit family. She adores her younger brother, Austin, and gets along well with her parents. She has said that her mother is her best friend and that her father is her hero. Additionally, she has mentioned that her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Finlay, has been a great influence in her life.
