• In the floor, there was a spill of what we think its dr.pepper

• There was a couple white particles that stayed in the rug

• There was also saliva particles in leilanis cup, so she was drinking from it

• The spill is 1 foot long

• This piece of evidence is physical evidence because it can be assosiaetd with a physical distrubance and alterations.

-The cup Leilani was drinking out of was spilled near her body.-Can be taken to a Forensics laboratory where they can analyze and document the composition of the drink.

Pocket knife in Mateo’s jacket that was hung on a chair

Why does Mateo have a pocket knife in his pocket??-This piece of evidence is Physical evidence because it is an object that can be collected and presented -This evidence can be taken to a forensics laboratory for a forensics analist to determine if the knife was used for something -the Forensics analysis found out the white stuff was linked to a deadly substance called Cyanide. A latent finger print has also been found on the knife

• Jenny has pills in the purse but they have no name of the type of pill it is?
• This piece of evidence is Physical Circumstantial evidence due to it being able to investigate illegal possessions or poisoning.
• The pills were taken to a laboratory to determine wh;at they were and it resulted as Cyanide pills mixed in with the tylenol pills

• Amy, Jenny and Jimmy leaving the apartment 1 hour before the incident.
• This piece of evidence is direct evidence because it can prove a fact without assumptions and identify the suspects.
• They left before the cyanide could have killed Leilani, meaning one of them tried leaving the scene with others to make all of them have an equal chance of being a suspect in the case
• Heel shoe prints are also found minutes after they left
