• Native American Relations: He disrespected the native americans.

• Problems with Mexico: NO! He almost made Texas and Mexico go to war again.

• Problems with Mexico: He tried to attack Mexico by forcefuly trying to take their land.

• The Annexation Issue: He didn't succed and only made it worse.

• The Annexation Issue: He wanted the borders of Texas to extend all the way to the Pacific Ocean.He wanted Texas to remain its own independent country.
