- Parents - teachers of gentry descent, engaged in patriotic activities;
- 1891, moves to France to continue her studies;
- 1896, marries french physician Pierre Curie;
- 1898, discovery of Polonium and Radium;
- 1903, Nobel prize victory;
- 1906, her husband dies;
- 1911, second Nobel prize victory;
- 1934, death in Passy due to radiation exposal.
