  • 1867, Warsaw, Russian-occupied Poland;
  • Parents - teachers of gentry descent, engaged in patriotic activities;
  • 1891, moves to France to continue her studies;
  • 1896, marries french physician Pierre Curie;
  • 1898, discovery of Polonium and Radium;
  • 1903, Nobel prize victory;
  • 1906, her husband dies;
  • 1911, second Nobel prize victory;
  • 1934, death in Passy due to radiation exposal.
