Jane Austen
She was born in the English countrysde
She was a writer. Her character ususally met during balls.
BUT WHAT IS A BALL? A ball was the “dance floor” of the 19th century, as people had realized that dancing was a good way to get a partner.
She was considered a romance author, but her intention wasn’t that at all.
That night, after I had read an article calling me a “romance author”, I went to the bathroom to vomit.
By the time she died at the age of 41, she had written 6 novels
Some of her most famous novels are:1. NORTHANGER ABBEY A wealthy family invited Catherine, a teenager, to spend winter at their house in Bath. There, she met Henry Tilney, a rich man, during a ball and she fell in love with him.
I had never felt this way before I met you
At the beginning, Henry’s father had believed that Catherine was rich as well and when he realized that she was a middle-class girl, he disagreed with their marriage. SPOILER: There is a happy ending!
