Different from the last few years, Frisco ISD will be starting school on a monday.

Last Day of School

May 21, 2025

After a nine week period with only one three day weekend, students will finally be at the last day of school.

Winter Break

December 21, 2024 - January 6, 2025

Even with new changes to the calendar, winter break will remain the same length. Students will not have school the week of Christmas and New Year's Day. Students will come back to school on Jan. 7 which is a Tuesday.

Bad Weather Make Up Days

May 22, 2025 and May 23, 2025

Instead of occuring during the school year as in previous years, the bad weather make up days will happen after the school year end. If school is missed due to bad weather, the district will utilize these days.

Thanksgiving Break

November 23, 2024 - December 1, 2024

Students will have a full week off for Thanksgiving as usual.

Spring Break

March 15, 2025 - March 23, 2025

Spring break will remain a week long. However, spring break will be pushed a few week later and will occur later in March. As a result, spring break will occur in the beginning of the last grading quarter.

Fall Break

November 1, 2023 - November 5 2023

For the first time, Frisco ISD will be having a fall break. Students will have three additional days off during the fall break. Fall break is designed to occur after Halloween so students can stay out later without worrying about school the next day. In addition, with Nov. 5 being president election day, students are more likely to vote for the upcoming election as they don't have school that day.
