In this present work, we delve into significant aspects of the African continent. We highlight some of its most notable advancements, showcasing how Africa has been steadily progressing, becoming more updated in all facets towards becoming a better, more contemporary continen

We learned that Africa is a highly potential tourist destination, offering a diversity of landscapes, cultures, histories, and experiences that make it appealing to tourists worldwide. However, the lack of precise and accessible information about these destinations presents a significant barrier to their sustainable tourism development. This lack of information stems from a variety of factors, including:
- The scarcity of promotional campaigns, hindering the dissemination of the continent's tourist attractions.
- It's challenging for potential tourists to learn about Africa's attractions due to limited visibility on international tourism platforms.
- The prevailing narrative about the continent's social and political issues can create a negative image of Africa for those considering visiting
ADespite the issues, there are promising projects aiming to address the lack of information about tourism in Africa. These projects are driven by governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private companies striving to:
- To showcase the attractiveness of tourism in Africa and change its image positively.
- To conduct campaigns informing about tourist destinations in Africa.
- To ensure Africa is well represented on international tourism platforms
From the learning unit
- Sadot: In this learning unit, I developed skills in creativity and critical thinking when researching each topic, as they were not easy subjects and needed to be understood to relate the information.
- Alexia: In this learning unit, I developed skills in critical thinking, working under pressure, patience, and distinguishing between personal and professional relationships.
- Aylin: Throughout the semester, the learnings we obtained were about how we should assess our abilities to be more creative and also knowing how to apply this creativity at the right moment.
- Itzel: The learning unit is very useful for us as professionals to contribute new ideas to companies and make that distinctive mark, in other words, skills that other people do not possess.
- Michelle: It's important to mention that throughout the semester, we acquired diverse knowledge about some matrices that will help us organize company information better. In case we're asked to seek options for improving the company, we can do so without any problem.
