four steps to food safety

  1. Clean : wash your hands and surfaces often.
Germs can cause poisoning because they can survive in many places and spread around your kitchen. 2. Cook to the right temperature. food is safely cooked when the internal temperature gets high enough to kill germs. 3. Separate : don't cross contaminate. Raw meat, chicken, sea food and eggs can spread germs in food unless you keep them separate. 4. Chill : refrigerate properly Bacteria can multiply rapidly if left at room temperature or in danger zone.
