3. What are Green Skills?
Simply put, green skills are the knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes needed to live in, develop and support a sustainable and resource-efficient society.
Green skills are those that enable the societal and environmental sustainability of economic activities. Skills that contribute to reducing pollution or conserving natural resources.
Green transition can fuel new green jobs and give us the chance to meet the urgent climate challenge. But to fully realize those jobs, we need more and more people armed with green skills.

'Green Positive' Certificate
Green Positive, a green skilling program, curated by the Deepwoods School of Sustainability, seeks to foster awareness among the public and MSMEs alike. A certificate will be provided for the participants for their involvement and sincere efforts to address Climate Change.
As the economy goes green, the skills needed for many jobs will change, along with the tasks they involve. The primary goal of this program is to equip individuals with the knowledge, competencies, and expertise needed to contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly economy.

7. Call to Action
Who is asking for it?
The world is on the brink of a climate catastrophe and current actions and plans to address the crisis are insufficient. Emissions should already be decreasing now and will need to be cut almost by half by 2030 - a mere seven years from now. To combat climate change and its impacts by 2030, urgent and transformative action is needed to meet the commitments under the Paris Agreement across mitigation and adaptation efforts.
