Learning Objectives
- Analyze the evolution of narrative techniques from classic Spanish literature to their application in contemporary popular culture.
- Design and use basic tools such as data visualization, immersive media, AI tools, and multimodal texts to create narrative projects.
- Experiment with artificial intelligence technologies to understand their impact on the creation and consumption of stories.
- Analyze how narratives are constructed across different media and assess their effectiveness and reach.
- Obtain the UNF "Introduction to AI” badge and complete some LinkedIn Learning micro courses focused on storytelling, tailored to each student's professional area of interest.

This course explores transmedia narratives, tracing their evolution from classic Spanish literary works to their influence on contemporary popular culture and their impact across diverse fields such as healthcare, education, and marketing. It highlights examples like the "Star Wars" universe and the Taylor Swift phenomenon. Students will use techniques and tools such as data visualization, AI, and immersive media to apply transmedia storytelling skills in various professional contexts, leveraging both classic literature and modern technologies.
