Beginning of the year fear
My fear was failure. Also, not succeeding. I had a fear of not being able to manage the students. The class of 2024 did not get to observe much so coming into student teaching was our first experience.
Interview of students
The smart cookie
I interviewed my students using a lesson. The smart cookie lesson included eight smart cookies. These smart cookies were self-smart, music-smart, body-smart, logic-smart, word-smart, nature-smart, people-smart, and picture-smart. Students created their own smart cookies that best fit them and that's how I collected my data on how my students learn best.
Once I figured out how my students learned best, I then created a lesson that accommodated all students

Feedback from Gold
Gold suggested that I create a more hands-on lesson. So, when I bring the students to the meeting area (rug) have something in hand like a whiteboard or a piece of paper. This motivates students to stay on task and focus.

End of the year goal
In the beginning of the year, my fear was failure and not succeeding. Now that I have experienced what it is like being a teacher my fear turned into a goal. My goal is to maintain happiness and work for the students. The students are my main goal and making them happy and providing them with the right education is my goal as a future teacher.
