As Hercule Poirot enjoys a luxurious cruise down the Nile, a newlywed heiress is found murdered on board. Can Poirot identify the killer before the ship reaches the end of its journey?

Who was Agatha Christie?

Agatha Christie was known as the 'Queen of Crime'; she was not a criminal but the world's greatest mystery writer. Christie was born to Agatha Mary Clarissa Miller on September 15, 1890, in the town of Torquay, Devon, which is in the Southwest of England. Her father was American, and her English mother homeschooled her. After losing her father at age 11, Christie became her mother's constant companion. She became a volunteer nurse during World War I and wrote short stories at that time. She met and married Archie Christie while he was fighting with the Royal Flying Corps, and Agatha Christie's daughter, Rosalind, was born on August 5, 1919. In 1920 her first novel "The Mysterious Affair at Styles" was published, and Christie signed a contract for more novels. She wrote hundreds of novels, collections of short stories, radio broadcasts, and poems during her long career. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, two billion copies of Agatha Christie's books have been sold worldwide, and she is the best-selling fiction writer of all time. Christie passed away peacefully in her sleep in 1976.

The older she gets, the more interested he is in her.” “The best time for planning a book is while you're doing the dishes.” “One doesn't recognize the really important moments in one's life until it's too late.”
