The colors are divided into three major families
Primary colors: red, yellow, and blue
Secondary colors: orange, green, and purple
Tertiary colors: originate from the mixture of a primary color and a secondary color
Blue yellow = green
Blue red = purple
Red yellow = green

Blue green = bluish-green
Orange yellow= yellow orange
