Citations
At the top, the Cite button creates correct citations in a variety of formats. Ask your teacher which citation style is appropriate for your assignment.
Topic Finder
Found at the bottom of the home page or under Advanced Search, Topic Finder is best used for narrowing down an idea prior to research.
After entering your generic search term, Topic Finder will create an interactive visual of sub-categories and resources for those categories. The bigger the bubble, the more sub categories and resources.
Issues
The database has an extensive list of debatable issues. They can be seen under Browse Issues in an alphabetical list. Students can also look in Topics, which groups issues into similar categories.

Issue Details & Resources
This database has 4 components of each topic: Overview, Pro/Con arguments, discussion questions, and take action.
Pro/Con 3 pro reasons and 3 con reasons are given for each topic. After each explanation there are small bracketed numbers [#]. They link to the actual article/resource. The explanations on ProCpon are just summaries and lists. Do not cite Pro/Con. Cite the actual resource the number directs you to.
